Photo Exhibition - Kristinn H. Benediktsson

The family of the late photographer Kristinn H. Benediktsson has given Eldheimar all the photos he shot during the eruption in Heimaey 1973. The photos are a very valuable addition to the museum.

 

Kristinn had an uncanny knack for finding artistic beauty in the destruction caused by the eruption.
